daniejo
Mom (Danie) to Adam (9-4-03) & Nate (3-7-07) Nate was diagnosed with silent AR at 2 months old. He was on neocate, prevacid 30mg per day and couldn't start solids till he was almost 8 months old. He started cow's milk at 14 months and is currently off all meds!! So far so good :) PIC: Disney trip 2008. Nate didn't know Piglet was there, he didn't like the characters too much.
Update and a funny story...
Hey all. We got back from Disney World on Sunday...it was great. The weather was hot (of course) but it only rained for about an hour on Friday!! The crowds were low and the boys had a blast. Our first night there, Nate developed a "croupy" sounding cough and had trouble sleeping. I gave him a few squirts of his inhaler and he did fine during the day.

Before we left, he was having some issues with cheese and processed meats. Well, after further review, I think it was all due to the 3 freakin teeth he got in at the same time, lol. He has had cheese and and no more of the fussiness or bowel problems...please keep your fingers crossed.

Today was his first day of "toddler school" He is the ONLY boy with 7 girls in the class. They were already trying to take care of him and giving hugs :) I picked him up at 4pm. I had to go out to the playground where to my surprise, he was PASSED OUT in the swing, lol. The teacher said he fell asleep about 30 seconds after she put him in the swing...she barely got him strapped in, lol. She said that's not even the funny part...at lunch time, he passed out face first into his sloppy joe, LMAO!! They said he is probably not used to the napping schedule yet. He is able to stay awake until 12pm at home now (he is slowly dropping the second nap). My sweet boy, he locked his arms around my neck when I went to put him in the car seat.

How can I get him to sleep in longer on school days?? I can barely get him to stay up past 7pm and he wakes at 6am. I am going to work on getting him to sleep later...they wore that boys out, lol.

I miss you all. I have been trying so hard to catch up on posts, it is so hard tho. Thinking of all of you and your lo's :)

Donnessa, mom to Halley born 3/10/07
Reflux (mostly) resolved at 14 months
and Addison born 8/17/09. Currently exclusively bf and on 7.5mg Prevacid
Poor li'l guy...I can picture him with sloppy joes all over his face :-). Halley has had her both of her upper molars and canines coming in at the same time, so I can relate to that! As far the sleep schedule goes, I think he'll gradually sleep later on his own. If you can try to keep him on the school schedule, that should help. That's what we do on weekends. Glad you had a good time on the vacation!

My previous drivers license was also stolen. The new one has extra security features on it.
He sounds so cute. The toddler school should be a good social experience.

I want to see pics of the trip! And I am messing around with bedtime too, only I need her's earlier. i am trying to get her down 10 minutes earlier each night for several nights, then bump it up some. It's working for her, but I need to be more consistent about getting her down in time!
Check with your
doctor first!
