PICTURE: Aubrey in her cute cat outfit. If you look you can see how her right foot turns in. She walks that way as well. It is not as exaggerated in the morning's but gets worse in the evenings. This was after her nap.
1 wk in school and Aubrey is sick
Is it coincidence or does she have immune issues too? She only went to school on Tues and then started having a runny nose on Wed. I will say we were outside in heavy winds tues evening. It has now progressed into full blown green snot! I could not wait for school to start but I was dreading this part... We started the antihistimine (sp)/decongestant rx the pedi gave us and then humidifier. This of course has also led to a lot of hiccups and more refluxing...UUUGGGHHHH. On a side note her bottom is looking better. At least we have that going for us!

Jasmine goes to pre-k one day a week (Wed) and Thursday she woke up with a bad cold. I don't think it is her immune system it is just culture shock to all the new germs at school. Jas is a lot like Aubrey- if there is a germ she will find it. I hope she feels better soon.

Melissa - Mommy to Sebastian, born 9/28/07 @ 7 lbs 7 oz and 20.75 in. At docs at 12 months: 27 pounds and 32 in! Good grief! GERD - currently on Prevacid suspension (liquid equivalent of 45 mg a day). Allergic to dairy, soy, eggs, wheat, all treenuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, peas, sesame, bananas, barley, coconut, dust, dust mite, dog, cat, latex. Seasonal allergies. Oral Allergy Syndrome (OAS). Neocate only - no solids - until further notice (drinks and loves water, too). Loves his doggie, our rescued Treeing Walker Coonhound, Louise, even though he is allergic to her. Louise will make your doctor a homemade pie if you would like her to. PHOTO: We couldn't do a cake on Sebastian's birthday, but that didn't stop him from tossing around the contents of a big bowl of popcorn! He now tries to eat it when we play with popcorn, so no more of that game.... :(
I hope it is coincidence! My six-year-old niece started first grade last Tuesday, and by Saturday she had a 100.6 degree fever. My sister is all mad because she said someone didn't want his or her kid to miss the first week of school, so he or she sent 'em in sick. Hope Aubrey feels better ASAP!

Andrea: Mom to 3 crazy girls!
Jackie (3/01)
Payton (9/03)
Abby (4/06) Prevacid 7.5mg (evening), MSPI, goats milk (currently trying to wean off Prevacid)
My oldest got sick the first week of school also! Then Payton got it. Luckily with them I can give them those Zicam nose swabs which work like a charm! I can't tell you how many boxes of those things we go through in the winter. Well now Abby has it. I can't wait till she is 3 and I can give her those swabs too! I wish we could get some immunity boosting shots! :)
