Our 1 year old daughter has silent reflux, hypotonia as well as benign external hydrocephalus. We are currently weaning onto whole milk (we'll see if it works) and she is also on Prevacid 15mg per day.
When Keira was born and was not doing well I quit my medical billing job. If your daughter's deductible starts over in January every year and you say she had this done this year already and you were not billed was it at the same place? If so the billing office can look and see how they billed it out the first time and if it's the same then they need to call the insurance company and ask them to send that claim back to be reviewed again for payment. Surgical procedures these days can mean almost anything. Heck-if I see only the nurse for a blood pressure check they can still make me pay a copay!!! Outrageous. If the billing office tries to put it on you just ask for the manager. If they want to get paid they'll call the insurance co for ya. ;)
