16 months today/Positive update
So hard to believe that Megan is 16 months today! She is 29 inches tall 16 pounds and 11 ounces last check (sick since) 43 cm head circumference. Takes an average of 700 calories a day. It sure seems the time has flown even with all of her difficulties. Meggy is such a sweet heart. She tries to fee her daddy and I too. LOL what a mess. She likes to play house and go outside. We love her so very much and we are thankful that she is alive and active. She loves sweeping the floor. I never knew little girls like to dig in the mud too until I had her . Even after 9 years of child care I had never seen a girl her age that enjoyed digging. I am so glad she is active and observant of her surroundings. Meggy actually cries everytime when computer time is over. Her dad is a computer genius and she seems to be following his lead. I tried to feed her today and she flat out told me no. Turns out, it wasn't about eating or not. She took me to the refrigerator to show me her choice of what was for lunch. She has such a strong opinion and sticks to it. This is a great thing for Megan as she has had to struggle for life. She just knows what she wants and goes for it. I hope she continues to progress despite the lack of weight gain.

Melissa - Mommy to Sebastian, born 9/28/07 @ 7 lbs 7 oz and 20.75 in. At docs at 12 months: 27 pounds and 32 in! Good grief! GERD - currently on Prevacid suspension (liquid equivalent of 45 mg a day). Allergic to dairy, soy, eggs, wheat, all treenuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, peas, sesame, bananas, barley, coconut, dust, dust mite, dog, cat, latex. Seasonal allergies. Oral Allergy Syndrome (OAS). Neocate only - no solids - until further notice (drinks and loves water, too). Loves his doggie, our rescued Treeing Walker Coonhound, Louise, even though he is allergic to her. Louise will make your doctor a homemade pie if you would like her to. PHOTO: We couldn't do a cake on Sebastian's birthday, but that didn't stop him from tossing around the contents of a big bowl of popcorn! He now tries to eat it when we play with popcorn, so no more of that game.... :(
Do you think she might like to come sweep MY floor? I am getting sick of doing it 57,854 times a day.

What a great day! I am always glad to read good news like this. Your little one seems like a real character! I can't even decide what I want for lunch, and I'm 31!

Wait - I meant "What a great update!" rather than "What a great day!"

Thanks, She does get such a kick out sweeping the floor. We tell her Thank you and what a good job and then she wants to do it more. LOL She is so funny when she feels well. She is in to everything. I don't think more than a day goes by when every cabinet is not opened and every drawer not gone through. She already climbs the baby gates or just takes the broom to push the latch up. She seems to say "There is no holding me back Mommie, move out of my way." LOL

Donnessa, mom to Halley born 3/10/07
Reflux (mostly) resolved at 14 months
and Addison born 8/17/09. Currently exclusively bf and on 7.5mg Prevacid
I think this is going to be one of my favorite times of Halley's childhood - she sounds so much like Meggy! She loves to sweep and mop too - I keep asking her to teach her daddy how to do it LOL! Glad to hear all is going well.
Check with your
