Mommyto2-Update between meds
Hello all. I am about to go and take some more pain meds but thought I would update while I felt ok. I have been in more pain today than I anticipated. Aubrey does not understand why I can't hold her and has been a bit fussy for daddy. Brandon has been in tears that I am not taking care of him. It made me sad, but I let him lay in bed and watch cartoons w/ me. Honestly, I slept.

The procedure itself went well. The doctor told Rick I def needed it done. He cleaned out a ton of tissue. I go back for a checkup in 2wks and we will go from there. He did not look for the endo since he went in vaginally. I am having a hard time just laying around, but the pain meds are keeping me drowzy. If I sit up to long my uterus cramps pretty bad and it feels like it may fall out!!!

I am hoping for a shower later today. I nice big pina colada or daquiri would be nice, but not today...darn it. Melissa-go ahead and have one for me!

I have already been having dreams about holding babies. I knew this would be the final step in the healing process and putting closure on everything.

Thanks for you support and prayers. The procedure itself was about 20-30min but as I predicted it took me 2hrs to wake up. I come out of anesthesia VERY slow. I do remember the nurses sitting over me trying to get me up. Hey-no kids good drugs-I was in heaven!!! Jennifer

I am Jacky, mommy to Joslyn Olivia (April 2008) and Katelyn Isabel (November 2009).
Joslyn was dx'ed with Silent Reflux with breath apnea at 5 days old. VERY SCARY!
Katelyn is a spitter reflux baby. Started at 3 days old as well. (Both were/are breast fed.. symptoms came on when my milk came in).
Joslyn has been reflux free since she was 12 months (suffered poor weight gain for a few months) and Katelyn is now on Zantac... waiting to see if it works.
glad to see you post. Wishing you well wishes and no pain... either of the kind
