Maggie is now 3 years old and reflux free (knock on wood). I still check in some to see how everybody is doing :) Hugs to all!
Jessica
I asked the director of my daycare today about the medical charts. She said that she doesn't think it's legal. She said that it would be a fight between Hipa laws and the dept of social services to determine if it's right. She said the only way they could even start to ask for that is if they are a daycare that takes kids on govt assistance and even then, they'd probably get in trouble for the hipa laws.

She's pretty knowledgeable about that stuff, seems like it any way.

I really think I am going to get a job at night. That way DH can care for Jedd. *sigh*....that means time apart for me and DH....:(

But without it...we'd be spending ALOT of time together, IN OUR CAR...LOL When we lose the house...LOL hahehahehahe

BTW we aren't to that point yet. But it *could* be in the futrue if we don't act now. :(

I know what you mean. That's why I'm doing what I'm doing, but seriously....if this job doesn't look up soon, I'm gonna be a cashier. I would have a flexible schedule then and could be home with Mags some days.

Tracey, mom to Katie. Diagnosed with reflux at 3 weeks and put on Zantac. At 8 months old she was removed from Zantac as it was giving her migraines, currently on Prevacid. Switched to Elecare since she is not gaining weight; trialing solids after being off for a month. Geneticist said reason she isn't gaining weight is she is stubborn. Upcoming appts.: Neurologist for developmental delay and EGD scheduled for September. She is one funny baby!
Gotta say that I have worked retail and I have taught elementary school and preferred retail many days! Didn't have to prepare lesson plans, call a sub or deal with many issues when I worked retail. Someone else found my replacement and didn't have to explain to parents that the sub actually did teach the lesson their darling child talked all the way through it.

Exactly, sad thing is...I turned down a walgreen's job for this one. I had it in my hands and turned it down. I love retail! I really do. I love talking to customers and doing money. It's my kind of thing. I love customer service (except for those rude people like me) and all that. Honest to goodness, I might be headed back down that road. I'd love to work at Target. We don't have one in my town. Just wm and km. I HATE WALMART and our kmart is ok, but many of the cashiers seem high. I'm not kidding.
Check with your
doctor first!
