PICTURE: Aubrey in her cute cat outfit. If you look you can see how her right foot turns in. She walks that way as well. It is not as exaggerated in the morning's but gets worse in the evenings. This was after her nap.
My horrible day!!!
I will preface this by saying I know it could be worse. Here it goes:

I am so glad we are almost done teething. Aubrey has been pulling on her ear A LOT but she has always done that. I knew from when we went to the pedi end of July she was going to be cutting them but pedi thought it would take a few months-WRONG. As she was a screaming mimi in the mall today I looked in her mouth to see part of a 2 yr molar. I could only see the one so i am not sure if there is more-ugh!

On my way to the mall to buy dh birthday present I got a speeding ticket. I have only had 2 my whole life. Now I have had 2 within 6 mo of each other. I told my dh I need a putter of a car that won't go above 60. This one is a doozy. I won't write the speed down but it was 20mph over the speed limit. He was not a friendly cop. I forgot it is end of the month quota time. They were crawling everywhere today. Luckily it wasn't in the same town of my last so it does not effect my probation from that ticket. GEEZ!

Is this year over yet? I am ready to ring in the new year. I am looking forward to my drugs tomorrow so I can forget about things for at least a couple of hours!

I'm sorry you had a rough day. The speeding ticket stinks but what are you going to do. To bad the cop had no sympathy.

Good luck with the surgery tomorrow. I will be thinking of you. I hope they give you some great meds. Take Care. Amber

Our 1 year old daughter has silent reflux, hypotonia as well as benign external hydrocephalus. We are currently weaning onto whole milk (we'll see if it works) and she is also on Prevacid 15mg per day.
I got a speeding ticket last week right before Keira's PT appointment which I was dreading anyway. I was so mad! Last time I got one was the week I found out I was pregnant. I thought the same thing you did-it's quota time. I was 17 miles over the speed limit. I'll be thinking of ya tomorrow!

I am Jacky, mommy to Joslyn Olivia (April 2008) and Katelyn Isabel (November 2009).
Joslyn was dx'ed with Silent Reflux with breath apnea at 5 days old. VERY SCARY!
Katelyn is a spitter reflux baby. Started at 3 days old as well. (Both were/are breast fed.. symptoms came on when my milk came in).
Joslyn has been reflux free since she was 12 months (suffered poor weight gain for a few months) and Katelyn is now on Zantac... waiting to see if it works.

GERD - currently on Prevacid suspension (liquid equivalent of 45 mg a day). Allergic to dairy, soy, eggs, wheat, all treenuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, peas, sesame, bananas, barley, coconut, dust, dust mite, dog, cat, latex. Seasonal allergies. Oral Allergy Syndrome (OAS). Louise will make your doctor a homemade pie if you would like her to. PHOTO: We couldn't do a cake on Sebastian's birthday, but that didn't stop him from tossing around the contents of a big bowl of popcorn! He now tries to eat it when we play with popcorn, so no more of that game.... :(
That SUCKS! I am so sorry. It is actually your DH's fault. If it weren't for his birthday, this never would have happened.

My dad got a speeding ticket two years ag for going 36 in a 25. He hadn't had a ticket since 1967. He got a ticket ANYWAY. WTH??

Hoping all molars come in tonight and that you'll be all done with them forever.

I think we should all have a "do over" for today. Mine is sucking royally as well - my group at work just got berated for our perceived lack of motivation (read: billable hours). Oh yeah, I'm feeling much more productive now - whatever.

Sorry you're having such a rotten day.

So sorry that it was a bad day. A few months back I got two speeding tickets and a traffic ticket all within three months. It was bad. Come to think of it, i owe the money at the beginning of the month. DOH!!!! The cops were crawling all over here too. Forgot about the end of the month. I'm so sorry about all that is going on with you. I haven't been responding to you or anybody really, but I have been reading about all that is going on and I just hope that everything will be ok in the end. Cute pic, too. -Sarah

Lorenzo b.4/25/07 1 week in NICU w/ aspirate pneumonia from a reflux episode; diagnosed GERD at 9weeks; Used Zantac for 5months. Currently using Chinese Medicine and Craniosacral Therapy. GERD, Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Sensory Processing Disorder. Ask me about breastfeeding a refluxer! Pic: day 5 in the NICU.
I just recommended the book "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" to Sarah, and it sounds like one for your family bookshelf too! It's just a fun and honest look at crappy days, and acknowledges that some days are like that "even in Australia..."

I think maybe we need to find someone to finance a great big mama vacation for all of us!
