Amanda - how was the allergist? How is your LO? Any more reactions? What did the allergist say? It's hard to see everything they eat. We parents of kids with allergies have to get x-ray, heat sensing, whatever vision to make it possible! This story will demonstrate my "lapses" and it was ALL my fault. We were in a restaurant and I dipped my food in a small cup of ranch dressing. My son saw me do it and he dips his french fry into the dressing. I am watching him the whole time. Half way to his mouth I grab his hand and say "NO!" Scared the cr*p out of him and he started to cry. My friend wanted to know what my problem was. All I could get out was "egg" while trying to comfort my son and get over my stupidity. She says, "No way, not in that." She should know better than to challenge "Super Allergy Mom"! I showed her the print out of the restaurants nutrition info and there it was. I could have kicked myself! I felt terrible. Poor kid.
