Quick fix needed
So I haven't been posting a lot lately, but I'm super stressed with this preganacy, Jazzy's ongoing crap and of course, finances (groan!) I've been keeping up with all of your posts though!

Jazzy's been having a lot of difficulty falling asleep lately, it takes her a good 45 min. to get comfortable and fall asleep. At first I thought teeth, and i still think partly so, she's pushing all 4 molars!!! But tonight I heard her snoring which I haven't heard in at least 2 months. That means her adnoids could be enlarged again......I hope not, like we need one more problem right? It also happens at nap time too, so I'm tired and so is she.

Anyone have a quick fix for babies who are teething, not sleeping, have diarrhea, low NRG, and for a pregant mamma who feels like she's 500lbs and for a family who's broke? Don't say Motrin, I'm on my 3rd bottle in 3 months and don't say marry a sugar daddy either, my hubby is too much of a hottie to leave!!!! Seriously, I can't wait for Jazzy to have her scope on Thursday!

I am so sorry you are dealing with this. Does Jazz take anything for allergies? Mine snore when their sinuses are bugging them (it's bad here right now) and benadryl seems to help them rest when they are super snotty. The allergy meds seem to help prevent some of the asthma symptoms too (at least the ones related to allergic reactions anyway). Is the head of her bed elevated? Is she coughing too?

I wish you lived near me. I would take Jazz and you could get some rest. I know my girls would love on her like crazy. They love "babies" aka anyone smaller than them. :)

Do you have any family members who can give you a break?

Kathryn, Pager Volunteer and mommy to Emily Mia 02/04/07. 3 years old with GERD. 30mg Prevacid and Pepcid AC. Mylanta needed for flares. Failed prilosec med switch. Tried and failed many med weans but GERD and pain are well controlled. Functional constipation. Reoccurring SBBO. Suspected IBD or autoimmune disease. Resolved issues: MSPI, CSID (acquired), Stage 2 kidney reflux, Chronic diarrhea.
Audrey Meadow 06/20/08. born 34/35 weeks. Still b/f and eats everything! ftt and chronic constipation.
i was gonna say benedryl too, it worked really well for emily when she gets snotty, it also helps her settle down too- but in some kids it can make them hyper and loopy. Do you have a bed time routine for jazzy? sometimes that helps.

i totally relate with the pregnant and feeling 500lb, broke, hotty husband thing! LOL I can tell you the one thing i was stressed about more then Audrey possibly having to go through the same things as emily, was money; and we had no extra. we were lucky to pay MOST bills on time. Which meant that we had little left over for personal necessities and even less for new stuff for a baby.

I too came here and posted about how i was sad and scared and didn't have any money and i was told multiple times that the lord will provide and things will work itself out... and it turned out to be true. somehow it all came together that we had clothes for and a bassinet, people i didn't even know offered up a pack and play a swing and a baby bjorn as well as more clothes. I live in the middle of nowhere with really no family around to help and we made it out alright. and i am sure you will too. the universe has great way of balancing out things sometimes. *HUGS!*

You guys are so great!! Gave me the lift I needed. I'm doing ok, thanks Melissa, I am on some pretty good anti nausea meds, so that really helps.

Jazzy is sleeping better at night most of the time. Since I stopped BFing, she'll sleep until 3:00-3:30, then she gets some Rice milk from her sippy and sleeps again until about 6:30 ish. I can live with that for now. Whwen she's in pain then I usually just sleep with her and she wakes only2-4 times and I can cuddle her back down. But we have a very strong bedtime routine, that we've used for almost all of her life.

I guess it could be allergies, it's pretty bad here too lately. I hope it's nothing else. I haven't tried the benadryl, I've been holding off a bit incase of the hyperactive effect. But I may try it if she really can't sleep.

I'm sure everything will come togther, it always usually does right? And at least i have so much baby stuff already!!

Thanks again ladies!!

Do you think she could still be adjusting to the wean on top of all the other things she's dealing with. If so, know it will pass soon hopefully. Sorry your having a tough time. There never is enough $ in the bank is there. It is really hard right now I know. That is been one of the good things for us w/ the elimination diet. I don't eat out at all, so we save a lot of $. Big hugs. Were thinking of you!
