Boold work and heart to hear w/ nurse-mommyto2
Well, I went in and had the blood work done this morning. I just laid it out there. I told the nurse I wanted to know what their thoughts were. I didn't care I just needed to know what they are talking about. Here is what she is said:

If the blood work comes back negative (for the pg hormone) then we will be looking at a hysterectomy asap. It would be my endomytreosis taking over. If the blood work comes back w/ some pg hormone left I will have to talk w/ the doc and discuss what the next step would be. We will get the result tomorrow morning. They did not want to do the CBC stat b/c they rush doing the counts and can be off. They want this as accuratte as can be. I feel completly confident w/ this. It will be a hard 24hrs, but it has been a long 2 months! What is another day right?

I am a little upset at the thought of a hysterectomy but I told my mom and dh last night I felt that is what would need to be done. I have not felt good in years (well since even before I started my period) and it would be nice to feel good. Another plus is NO MORE PERIODS!!! J

I am Jacky, mommy to Joslyn Olivia (April 2008) and Katelyn Isabel (November 2009).
Joslyn was dx'ed with Silent Reflux with breath apnea at 5 days old. VERY SCARY!
Katelyn is a spitter reflux baby. Started at 3 days old as well. (Both were/are breast fed.. symptoms came on when my milk came in).
Joslyn has been reflux free since she was 12 months (suffered poor weight gain for a few months) and Katelyn is now on Zantac... waiting to see if it works.
hugs, tears, and prayers being sent you way

Our 1 year old daughter has silent reflux, hypotonia as well as benign external hydrocephalus. We are currently weaning onto whole milk (we'll see if it works) and she is also on Prevacid 15mg per day.
I have endo too. It's caused two nasty operations as it likes to mess w/ my intestines and ovaries. My pregnancy w/ Keira seemed to keep it at bay and so far my pain is non existent but they warned me that will change before long. I know it's another day to wait but I'm glad they should know something tomorrow. You're in my thoughts!!!! HUGS!!!

This is our dd, Alessandra. Dx with GER 10/07. Ran the gamut with meds and now done with them (crossed fingers). Using magnesium, probiotics and prebiotic supplements. With the exception of teething and general sassy attitude, all is well now. They really CAN grow out of it!
Thinking of you - sending prayers and hugs! My family has a great history with endo and pcos. Lucky me, gues who got both! I'm probably looking at a partial hysterectomy in my 30's, if history repeats. So I feel the pain, and send you lots of feeling-good vibes!

yeah a lot of women w/ endo have pcos too-that's wild. I do too. They were suprised I got pregnant as my ovaries are so scared not only by pcos but by the endo.

I have serious endo too, have since I can remember, probably around 14. It has caused infertility as well as debilitating pain. i am so sorry you have to have this. I hope that everything works out and things will go well. I will likely have a hyst as soon as I'm done having kiddos, most likely in the next 5 years. Will it be a total or will you try and keep your ovaries? Let us know. You are in our prayers.

I too had an endo/fibroid surgery and mine was also causing infertility until I got it taken care of. Hysterectomies "run" in my family! My mom was able to keep one ovary, which prevented her from having to do hormone replacement therapy; you might ask about that, it made it easier. When I am done having kids I will probably have the hyst too.
