Atalia and Amalia update
I feel so bad for not being here in such a loooong time. But I really have not time- right now I have my husband feeding the baby so I can get on the computer and give this update. I think about everyone- HAlley, Maggie, NAte, baby Quinn, Mila, Rory, Eddie, the other new mama (having a mental block now- sorry!), LAuren, Bradden, the beautiful blonde toddler with MSPI/low tone(another mental block- geesh- can only see her picture in my head- sorry!!!), refluxmama all the time.... Anyways, Atalia weighs 10.3 pounds and measures 21.5 inches. We had some real rough days there but thank God, the GI doctor is super awesome and has been increasing her prevacid dose and already told me when she hits 11 pounds- on the solutab- to start her on my own. Since she was put on 13.2 mg she has been doing better..she still chokes on her burps quite frequently but no choking with feedings... gets congested sometimes a lot but not like Amalia did...So she is doing much better than Amalia was at his age. Amalia still has her bad nights with the teething...no napping more than 50 minutes or so lately in the day...and for the last 2-3 weeks only wants to be with me or daddy- not with grandpa- and when someone else tries to be friendly with her- she hides!!! What's up with that! She used to adore going out with her grandpa and was sooo friendly with everyone...I don't know what this insecurity is about- maybe the new baby? Anyways, miss everyone terribly, feel free to update on this post. Praying specilly hard for CArla's kids, baby Quinn, Mila... God Bless!

Maggie is now 3 years old and reflux free (knock on wood). I still check in some to see how everybody is doing :) Hugs to all!
That's the most precious pic! You're too sweet! Little Atalia is in wonderful hands. I bet Amalia's issues are at least somewhat due to the baby. At daycare we have a 2yo and her mommy is being induced tomorrow. The 2yo won't even let the mom go potty without pulling on her not to leave. I guess they just don't understand. Lucky for Amalia, she has a super-patient mommy.

Mags is having ear issues, of course. I'm working full time now and she's in the center I work at. It's going pretty well.

So good to hear from you!

Reflux (mostly) resolved at 14 months
and Addison born 8/17/09. Currently exclusively bf and on 7.5mg Prevacid
That is the SWEETEST picture! I was just thinking of you this morning...I'm glad that you made it on to post. Sounds like you've done a great job getting on top of the reflux from the beginning. I'm sure that Amalia's sudden shyness is an age thing. I'm sure that not being the "baby" anymore probably is contributing as well. Get some rest momma!

I'm so glad to hear the GI is being proactive with little Atalia!! It must be a relief to have her feeling a bit better. As far as Amalia, I think it's probably a stage.....separation anxiety....going through it here too.....but I bet you are right, having the new baby around is probably playing a factor. Poor girly, still teething?!!! Ugh. Hugs
