Back to the Doctor-Mommyto2
I talked w/ my doctors office today and they want me to come in first thing in the morning for a CBC. They are going to check EVERYTHING to see why I am STILL bleeding. I should not still be bleeding (almost 5 wks and almost 2 since m/c). Depending on what the results are will determine the next step. Plan A-I may have to go in Fri morning to meet w/ the doctor and discuss what the next step is. Plan B-Just return at my already scheduled appt on Monday where they will redo the CBC and sono if necessary. I am just ready for this ride to be over!!!! I don't feel like I can completly heal until we can figure out what is going on! Thanks for listening. Y'all are probably tired of hearing about this... I have had such great support from you and it has helped get me through these past 2 months!

Our 1 year old daughter has silent reflux, hypotonia as well as benign external hydrocephalus. We are currently weaning onto whole milk (we'll see if it works) and she is also on Prevacid 15mg per day.
You can talk about this as much as you need to, ok? We're here for you! I'm just sorry you're still having the bleeding. I can imagine it's hard to even get any closure (if that's possible) when you're still having the bleeding. I hope they can figure this out this week so you don't have to wait over the weekend for yet another visit. You're in my thoughts and please update when you can ok? HUGS-I'm really sorry you're having to go through this!

Have they followed your hormone levels closely. I bled with a M/C and my levels were all screwy and always very low. All over the place and NEVER anywhere near where they should be. We consented to a D and C. IT saved my life, literally.

I had a tubal pregnancy. The way to find out was to do a D and C. The day after ehte D and C the OB told me to come in ASAP. They did a preg. test and it was still positive.

The "cure" for a tubal was a double dose of methatrexate. A chemo. drug. It absord the tissue that was in my tubes. This worked since they caught it earlier enough. That was a plus because then I didn't need surgery for it.

Just thought I'd mention it.

I hope your appt. goes well.

Wow, do they think it could be a fibroid? Those things can cause so much crazy bleeding. Did you end up having a d&c after the mc? If not, maybe one is in order?

Disclaimer: I am not a doctor. I just play one on PAGER!

No D&C...yet. I am thinking that it may be the next thing to happen. I have had MULTIPLE sono's done (most action I have had since this whole thing started-TMI) and ovaries have been checked. They have seen nothing. So far the nurse said I am a mystery and anything is deemed possible at this point. I told her I feel that something is terribly wrong. We are going to find it.

Jedd's mom-wouldn't they have found a tubal w/ the sono's??? I have no idea but I will def be sure and ask.

I do have endomytreosis (sp) and have had to have surgery in the past. Ihave asked about that being an issue again. At this point I am ok if they want to take all my female organs out and I never have another period! I hate that I may have to wait 24hrs for the blood results tho... I want this to end!

Tracey, mom to Katie. Diagnosed with reflux at 3 weeks and put on Zantac. At 8 months old she was removed from Zantac as it was giving her migraines, currently on Prevacid. Switched to Elecare since she is not gaining weight; trialing solids after being off for a month. Geneticist said reason she isn't gaining weight is she is stubborn. Upcoming appts.: Neurologist for developmental delay and EGD scheduled for September. She is one funny baby!
Talk all you want, that is why we are here!!! I hope they are able to figure out what is wrong and give you some relief. Keep us posted!!

After a D&C you bleed too, at least I did, for i think 10 days or so. U/S should have caught a tubal. And your dr would have seen the baby in the uterus or he wouldn't have given you hope. I have heard of twins being concieved, one in the uterus and one in a tube, but i would think that is pretty rare and also you would likely have severe pain if you had a pg in your tube. When my m/c baby was still living, and being perplexing, I was checked 3 times by u/s for tubal just to make sure. Also fibroids would cause bleeding (I had those too). I had endo too. Poor Jen! Hope everything gets figured out and SOON!

He started cow's milk at 14 months and is currently off all meds!! So far so good :) PIC: Disney trip 2008. Nate didn't know Piglet was there, he didn't like the characters too much.

I am Jacky, mommy to Joslyn Olivia (April 2008) and Katelyn Isabel (November 2009).
Joslyn was dx'ed with Silent Reflux with breath apnea at 5 days old. VERY SCARY!
Katelyn is a spitter reflux baby. Started at 3 days old as well. (Both were/are breast fed.. symptoms came on when my milk came in).
Joslyn has been reflux free since she was 12 months (suffered poor weight gain for a few months) and Katelyn is now on Zantac... waiting to see if it works.
After my D&C i bled for about a week. Following our second M/C I bled for about a week as well. I am so sorry you are going through this... please know we are not tired of hearing about this. You need to talk about it to people you feel safe with. IT DOES HELP!!!!!!!
Check with your
doctor first!
