Totally OT - puffy eyes
Sorry this is way not related. But has anyone had this before. My son was swimming in the lake on Friday all day mostly with goggles. He woke up yesterday with a swollen eye. Doc said it isn't an infection cuz his eye is not red and yucky. He said to just do visine and ice. Still kind of swollen this morning. Anyone ever experienced this?

Coyle Eagan. One Year Old. Doing well on Cow's Milk flavored with juice :) Drinking two bottles of Go&Grow daily. Eating solids better but still have rough days. No More Silent Reflux-that I can hear anyway.. but puking again. Zantac 2ML 2X daily.
my husband and i were discussing this a few weeks ago. i took coy swimming in the lake for the first time and two days later he came down with a horrible, horrible cold. it may have been unrelated but it prompted him telling me how his allergies always acted up when he swam in the lake. the lake water traps many allergens so possibly something could have gotten in and irritated it. or, it could have just been from the pressure on the goggles.

Mom (Danie) to Adam (9-4-03) & Nate (3-7-07) Nate was diagnosed with silent AR at 2 months old. He was on neocate, prevacid 30mg per day and couldn't start solids till he was almost 8 months old. He started cow's milk at 14 months and is currently off all meds!! So far so good :) PIC: Disney trip 2008. Nate didn't know Piglet was there, he didn't like the characters too much.
My ds who has allergies gets puffy eyes after being in the lake water. It happens to me too. I used to use the visine and it helped.
