Mom (Danie) to Adam (9-4-03) & Nate (3-7-07) Nate was diagnosed with silent AR at 2 months old. He was on neocate, prevacid 30mg per day and couldn't start solids till he was almost 8 months old. He started cow's milk at 14 months and is currently off all meds!! So far so good :) PIC: Disney trip 2008. Nate didn't know Piglet was there, he didn't like the characters too much.
Thanks guys. I went there last night at 9pm. I knew it would be hard so I waited till dh got here to watch the boys. It is not looking good...I am trying to be optimistic. His wife and I are very close...she is old enough to be my mom but are such close friends. Guys, I have never seen anyone sick/in pain before. He can't get comfortable, no meds are helping. They are waiting to hear from Texas today. My friend (his wife) NEVER cries...ever. As soon as I walked in the house, she lost it. I told myself to be strong for her but I lost it too...she yelled at me, lol. I was ok until I had to go...he looked at me and said "I love you DJ...tell Craig I love him too" and I was balling. I will let you guys know any updates. I will be gone today and tonight...that's another post. The thing that really sucks is that ALL of this came out of the blue...no warning signs :(

Our 1 year old daughter has silent reflux, hypotonia as well as benign external hydrocephalus. We are currently weaning onto whole milk (we'll see if it works) and she is also on Prevacid 15mg per day.
I just saw all this - I'm really so sorry to hear it. I'm actually helping out a friend of mine lately who's father has stomach cancer. He's got tumors all over now. It's been very difficult on his family. You're in my thoughts and I hope they can get some answers and help soon!
