Jennifer - 1st time mom. Lauren (6/1/07) diagnosed 9/07 with GER at 3 1/2 months. Prevacid 7.5 mg in the am. Currently drinking whole milk and eating great!!
No longer aspirating! Yippee!
Picture: Why would Lauren play with the hundreds of dollars worth of toys scattered in my living room?!?! When she could play in a box! Estimated move date: Oct. 3rd!
considence or is something up?
Lauren has had a rather large volume "spit-up" (almost a vomit) for the last three days at almost the exact same time of day. All three days it has been between 4:45 - 5:00. I know this because it seems like my dh walks in just after I finish scrubbing the carpet or couch and he gets home at 5. It's all curdled milk and chunky (TIM - sorry). I am wondering if it has something to do with a lack of food in her tummy? She eats lunch at 11, naps from 12-2 and has a snack at 2:30 and dinner at about 5:15.

She does not seem in pain at all, actually yesterday I found the spot near the back door and I could tell she'd been playing in it while I was cooking dinner!!! Today I saw her do it and she just went on playing. I hope it's nothing, but at the same time it reminds me of our early days...AND it makes me nervous about weaning from our night time Pepcid at the end of the month!

On another note, we went and met our new and hopefully better babysitter today. Lauren seemed to really enjoy her house and the other kids. Her house is much more kid friendly, she has 1 bedroom completely devoted to a play room and TONS of toys. Her first babysitting kids graduated from high school this year! I am relieved but horribly sad because I know I only have 1 week left with my little girl before we go back to the grind. It's so depressing!

Coyle Eagan. One Year Old. Doing well on Cow's Milk flavored with juice :) Drinking two bottles of Go&Grow daily. Eating solids better but still have rough days. No More Silent Reflux-that I can hear anyway.. but puking again. Zantac 2ML 2X daily.
Is she playing the same then too? maybe it could be the way she is hunched or something? is she eating the same thing for her snack? the mostly empty tummy vomits are the worse it seems for coy.

can't believe you guys go back to school that early! we like our law in michigan-after Labor Day for all districts. You poor thing!

We don't start school until the 20th, but I am anticipating some separation anxiety (for both of us!) and would rather deal with that before I have to go to work all day. So we are practicing with the sitter for 4 days. But there's a district just south of here that starts school on Aug. 12th!! That's next Tuesday! They always get out before Memorial Day though...I would love to not go back until after Labor Day!

Now that you mention it, it was when she was bent over today...and 3 days ago. Interesting... the snacks have been different for all three days, puffs, pudding, yogurt melts.

My vote is for teeth! Is she getting any molars, by chance? Rory just got 6 in the last two months, two of which were molars, and she started puking out of nowhere, always at the same time, on her last bottle of the day. I bet that's it!!

I can literally feel your heart wrenching.....I only have 5 weeks left with Rory. sniff. sniff. sniff.

I didn't even think TEETH! I can see that she's getting the second set on the bottom, and since she's only got THREE stinkin' teeth that def could be it. I just didn't think it would give us such a consistent vomit time, lol! Tomorrow I'll make sure we are in the kitchen from 4:30 on...easier clean up!

Maggie is now 3 years old and reflux free (knock on wood). I still check in some to see how everybody is doing :) Hugs to all!
I don't know Jen. Could be lots of stuff I guess, as long as it doesn't seem to hurt. I know how you feel about work now :(
Check with your
doctor first!
