I was just thinking of Jazzy and wondering how today went? Did you get a date yet for the scope? I hope she's out of the pain cycle for a little while! Update when you have a chance please!

Mom to Jasmine aka: Jazz 01/24/2007
Dx with silent reflux at 8 months
FPIES, DGE, MSPI. Recently diagnosed with EC (Eosin. colitis and now Primary immune deficiency disease.
Also mom to Nathan. born Jan.20th, 2009, MPI . so far dx with reflux and has an extremely sensitibe GI system. Also dx with primary immune deficiency disease.
Thanks for the thoughts! I called her GI nurse again and she said it would most likely be done next week. DH and I decided to give then until next Wed for them to schedule Jazz for a scope, if not then we'll go to the USA. Jasmine was so so today, she just gets tired and isn't quite herself. For example she will play for a bit and then get really upset, smack herself on the head and start to cry for no apparent reason. Also, because of the diarrhea, she has very short stamina. I know that she has never had a day in her 18 month old life where I can say for sure that she has been pain free. I've never seen her truely happy, without baggage....KWIM? And that's what's killing me now.

Tracey, mom to Katie diagnosed with GERD at 3 week.
I know exactly what you mean; each day that she is in a good mood I wonder when the other shoe will drop and if she will have another sleepless night.

Thanks for the update. I can't imagine what it has been like for Jazz to go through this constantly. Possibly a dumb question here, but how will health insurance work if you come to the states? I hope, hope, hope they get her in ASAP so you don't have to make the journey, but if they don't I will pray you get the medical attention you need here!
