The diaperless wonder!!
Rory will NOT keep her diaper on! It's been really humid here, especially in our building, so I usually only have a diaper on her....that and she's in her chair eating every 2 hours.....anyway, she ONLY takes it off once she's peed....I'm waiting for her to drop a "bomb" and rip it off....omg, that would be so gross....I'm thinking about getting her a potty since she's running around naked all day anyway.....gotta go diaper her again and put some pants on her....sheesh!!! BTW, she has the tiniest, cutest little tushie......hehehe

Melissa - Mommy to Sebastian, born 9/28/07 @ 7 lbs 7 oz and 20.75 in. At docs at 12 months: 27 pounds and 32 in! Good grief! GERD - currently on Prevacid suspension (liquid equivalent of 45 mg a day). Allergic to dairy, soy, eggs, wheat, all treenuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, peas, sesame, bananas, barley, coconut, dust, dust mite, dog, cat, latex. Seasonal allergies. Oral Allergy Syndrome (OAS). Neocate only - no solids - until further notice (drinks and loves water, too). Loves his doggie, our rescued Treeing Walker Coonhound, Louise, even though he is allergic to her. Louise will make your doctor a homemade pie if you would like her to. PHOTO: We couldn't do a cake on Sebastian's birthday, but that didn't stop him from tossing around the contents of a big bowl of popcorn! He now tries to eat it when we play with popcorn, so no more of that game.... :(
This is hilarious! Thanks for your response to my post, BTW...It is nice to get some feedback from moms on here instead of my local friends whose babies eat more than I do and who started walking at like 6 weeks or something.

Sebastian is starting to whip off his diaper. He already pees on his floor/rocking chair/my ottoman daily because I CANNOT get him to lay down for a diaper change. Now I am just happy if he doesn't race across the room mid-change. The only thing that seem to distract him are 1) letting him chew on my cell phone (doesn't care about his fake one OR my old real one I gave him.) 2) the dog, but then he ends up chasing her.

Sebastian has this giant butt...when he is in his nighttime diaper with a diaper doubler in it, his butt sticks out about four feet. And from the back naked, he looks like he is wearing those riding pants with the WIDE butt.

Be glad she only strips down once she has peed!

Jessica, Mommy to Jedd, severe reflux, severe food and oral aversions, Finally G tube free!!! VSD repair 4-24-07 (open heart surgery), hypospadias, repaired 3 times and Ear tubes Visit Jedd at his CB site: www.caringbridge.org/visit/jedd
ROFLOL!!!!! I can jsut see a tushie running down the hall.....Jedd does that after we take it off for bath time, and you know what we let him!! NAKED TIME!!!!!!! :)~

Can you put the diaper on backwards??? That might work. I've heard a Mother at church say she did that and it worked.

If that don't work the only other resource would be good old....DUCT TAPE!!!LOL

Michelle I'd buy a potty chair and set it out. Who knows she may sit on it. I had a cousin who trained super early cause she hated being wet. Wouldn't that be an pleasant surprise!!!

Tracey, mom to Katie diagnosed with GERD at 3 week.

You guys are hilarious!!!! Wide load.......I can see in my head a little naked butt running after a dog gleefully laughing........

Melissa, what about those puppy training pads? If you could just get him to pee on those and then start moving them closer to the bathroom, potted plant or patch of grass...:)

too cute! wouldn't it be great if she'd potty train early? Oh the irony! I can hear it now...She didn't like to eat, but she potty trained herself before 2!

hehehe....we just went out and bought a potty!!! I don't have ANY expectations, but think it's a good idea to introduce it before daycare starts, so she's not all, "what the heck do you want me to do with that????" when she gets there with new people. She pulled her pamper off when we got home, and Mike hollers to me "SHE PEED", and scoots her little naked butt to the bathroom and makes her sit on the potty. She liked it. :) She even put the seat cover down when they left. OMG, it would be sooooo cool to have her trained early. But I'm not putting any pressure on her just yet....we're working on the whole bottle/feeding issues at the moment.

Coyle Eagan. One Year Old. Doing well on Cow's Milk flavored with juice :) Drinking two bottles of Go&Grow daily. Eating solids better but still have rough days. No More Silent Reflux-that I can hear anyway.. but puking again. Zantac 2ML 2X daily.
it does sound like she is showing signs of readiness. maybe you can try some pullups once a day or somethign?

i'm beginning to think diaper changes are the worst part of my day. i haven't been able to easily diaper my kid for months. 2 days ago he DID poop on the floor! and, he does get up and crawl away in the middle of them ALL the time. i have to chase him and i swear he crawls like the wind!
