Mary & Nicholas 7-17-03 (non-refluxer)allergies, asthma on Singulair and Flovent & Aidan 1-28-07(my refluxer)Nissen Fundoplication on June 20, 2008, FTT, MSPI, DGE, ear tubes, allergies and severe GERD now currently taking just Prevacid and drinking Elecare Vanilla 1+.
I just wanted to say I am so sorry you are having a rough time now. You know we are like mirror images. My DH travels a lot too and even when he isn't traveling often works 15-16 hour days. He is just a serious work-aholic. We often fight over the little things too because I feel like he doesn't understand how hard it is to have two high needs children at home with me all day long and he thinks I worry about everything too much. I really have to make a concious effort to be positive about him and all that he is doing for us in order to make it work. It took seeing a therapist to see it was a lot about how I was thinking about it. Keep your Mondays and try not to do chores or other boring things on those days and just do special stuff you can't do with the kids around. It will get so much easier soon with both boys going to school. You will have some time to yourself finally to decompress and feel good again. That really helps. Know that you can come here and vent anytime. You are an awesome wife and Mom so don't forget it. If you need to chat e-mail me. BIG HUGS!

I am thinking about you too. I relate to what you are saying about Nate. I do try to spend extra time snuggling and cuddling her now. I do with all the girls. I don't think it is a bad thing. I think it shows that when you have dealt with a sick kid you value every fun minute you get to spend with them when they are well. Isn't that a good thing??

I think you are a wonderful wife and mother. Everyone has those moment where it is hard. You will get through all of this and we will be here to listen if you need us! ((HUGS))

Mom (Danie) to Adam (9-4-03) & Nate (3-7-07) Nate was diagnosed with silent AR at 2 months old. He was on neocate, prevacid 30mg per day and couldn't start solids till he was almost 8 months old. He started cow's milk at 14 months and is currently off all meds!! So far so good :) PIC: Disney trip 2008. Nate didn't know Piglet was there, he didn't like the characters too much.
Thank you Mary...we ARE so much alike :) I never thought about the way I look at the situation...I am trying to be more positive myself. It is so nice to come here and "let it all out"
