Picture: This is what happens when you raise a kid on health food and they get ahold of a Coke! Bad mom, that soda is NOT on the reflux diet.
UPDATE: Isaiah is now 12 and off meds! He is doing great, eating again and hopefully will be catching up in the growing department. I am still in the "hoping it sticks" phase, but we're so happy that he's better!
I love antibiotics!
I can't believe how fast Sarah has gotten better...yesterday we were looking at a kid who looked seriously sick, and today she has been nearly normal! She had a huge dose of the abx yesterday, and by this morning she didn't even have a fever. By afternoon, the cough had calmed down and she was playing almost like normal! Three cheers for the right antibiotic, I hate using them but boy am I glad they're available!

daniejo
Mom (Danie) to Adam (9-4-03) & Nate (3-7-07) Nate was diagnosed with silent AR at 2 months old. He was on neocate, prevacid 30mg per day and couldn't start solids till he was almost 8 months old. He started cow's milk at 14 months and is currently off all meds!! So far so good :) PIC: Disney trip 2008. Nate didn't know Piglet was there, he didn't like the characters too much.
It's so nice when they get some energy back. I sometimes have to FORCE the boys to take it easy when the meds start to kick in, lol.

it is crazy how well the antbx for pneumonia work! with emi she was sick sick sick. i mean i thought they were going to keep her in the hospital for days sick. after they did the xrays and found she had pneumonia and gave her IV antbx, within hours she was feeling well enough to drink a bottle and we were released later that night. after we fill the Rx for antbx she was better and better every day. So, YAYAYAYAY! i am SOO glad Rachel is feeling better!! :)
