Mom to Jasmine aka: Jazz 01/24/2007
Dx with silent reflux at 8 months
FPIES, DGE, MSPI. Recently diagnosed with EC (Eosin. colitis and now Primary immune deficiency disease.
Also mom to Nathan. born Jan.20th, 2009, MPI . so far dx with reflux and has an extremely sensitibe GI system. Also dx with primary immune deficiency disease.
Big wean continued...day 3
Thanks for all your responses ladies. Jazzy doesn't really seem much better GI wise, but she is sleeping more...for now! Today she threw the biggest tantrum of all at naptime, scream in my arms for 30 min. then fell into me and we both slept. I do feel guilty, but I know that I have to do and and now. Her GI thinks she could also be lactose intolerant, so we'll see. She is also pushing 2 big teeth on the bottom, so that doesn't help.................................................................We also saw an immunologist yesterday and they want to do a full work up on her (yep...more blood tests :-( ) because her IgG and IgA are low. I think it's related to her mysterious GI problem, so hopefully when we slove that the rest will follow...................................................Thanks for all your support ladies!

((HUGS)) Don't feel guilty! It's not allowed. ;) I hope they will get to the bottom of why she is feeling so bad soon. I'm glad they are taking it seriously and doing a workup on her. Surely that will figure out the source of the problem. Thanks for the update!!!

Melissa - Mommy to Sebastian, born 9/28/07 @ 7 lbs 7 oz and 20.75 in. At docs at 12 months: 27 pounds and 32 in! Good grief! GERD - currently on Prevacid suspension (liquid equivalent of 45 mg a day). Allergic to dairy, soy, eggs, wheat, all treenuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, peas, sesame, bananas, barley, coconut, dust, dust mite, dog, cat, latex. Seasonal allergies. Oral Allergy Syndrome (OAS). Neocate only - no solids - until further notice (drinks and loves water, too). Loves his doggie, our rescued Treeing Walker Coonhound, Louise, even though he is allergic to her. Louise will make your doctor a homemade pie if you would like her to. PHOTO: We couldn't do a cake on Sebastian's birthday, but that didn't stop him from tossing around the contents of a big bowl of popcorn! He now tries to eat it when we play with popcorn, so no more of that game.... :(
Yay! I am sure she is sorry to see the boobs go, but she will forget it soon enough (unless they are super fabulous like mine!). No,s eriously, I hope she starts feeling better soon. And, well, it is a good thing that you are weaning before those giant teeth come in. Sebastian's numbers were low, too,b ut they determined it was because of his food-induced inflammation/issues. I hope you get an answer ASAP.

Are you kidding? They are NOT super fabulous after having a kid. I feel like I have empty tube socks instead of boobs now. And I only nursed for three weeks!
