Time for a few updates please.
Hey you all. Now that is summer and everyone is so busy~ I've been missing a lot too. Just wondering how some of the kiddos that I haven't heard about in awhile are doing. So if you get a chance update.

Anyone heard from Mel? Wondering how Connor is doing.

Seamus'mom How did dh's band turn out. Are they going on tour?

Sharon is Elsyes drinking getting better?

How's Halley today? I'm really hoping the fever has broken.

How's our Drama Quinn?

Danie what all turned out with Adam's ears?

If you have already updated sorry I missed it. Also if there are any other los that had appts lately or anyone else that was sick feel free to update also. Or just leave a message to say everything is going good at your place.

Our update~ We are all doing good. Nolan is teething and has had a fever on and off since Sat. I think it is teeth since I can just see the tooth under the surface of the gum. He hasn't been to bad so I won't complain! I am having a garage sale this weekend and our families are coming on Sunday for our small town festival~ Barley Days. It is a way to raise $ for our Church and school. A parade goes by our house. I miss you all and haven't been spending much time on here cause I am so busy, as many of you are too. So I just thought I would post to everyone to get as many updates as I can!!!!! Take care and know that I think of you all often:)

Donnessa, mom to Halley born 3/10/07
Reflux (mostly) resolved at 14 months
and Addison born 8/17/09. Currently exclusively bf and on 7.5mg Prevacid
I'm glad that you posted this - I've been wondering about Connor. Hope Nolan's tooth comes through soon, poor little guy.

I talked to dh this morning and Halley was still running a fever last night, but it was in the 102 range, which is a little more managable than it's been the previous two nights. Hopefully this means she's on the road to recovery.

Can't wait to read the other updates :-)

Picture: This is what happens when you raise a kid on health food and they get ahold of a Coke! Bad mom, that soda is NOT on the reflux diet.
UPDATE: Isaiah is now 12 and off meds! He is doing great, eating again and hopefully will be catching up in the growing department. I am still in the "hoping it sticks" phase, but we're so happy that he's better!
great to hear about Mel and Connor! I hope their house sells soon. We are doing fine here. I am in a holding pattern trying to find another allergist who IS on our insurance. Sigh. Isaiah is doing better with the allergies, we really do have to avoid all milk and I'm noticing that although he does better with goat milk we still have to go easy on it. His eczema is still under control! He had a flare up when we were on vacation because I was lax about the milk, but it's all gone again. There has been a little breakthrough reflux, but it seems to be mainly when he's had dairy or soy, and when he's extra excited or nervous. Usually a few Tums seems to make it tolerable. I posted a ton of pictures on my blog (anerishale@blogspot.com)of what we've been up to lately, if anyone wants to see! Other than that, we're just trying to mellow out and not overschedule ourselves for the rest of the summer...which is looking all too short!

Thanks Kat for the Mel and Connor update. Tell her that I'm thinking of her and hope her house sells soon.

Donnessa I'm sorry that Halley still has a fever but I'm glad it isn't so scary high. I hope she feels better soon.

Erica I read your blog so I saw all the fun things your family has been doing. It is good to hear from you. I love the pic of your youngest sleeping with the chips. That was funny. Summer is going by so fast.

keep the updates coming:)

Mom (Danie) to Adam (9-4-03) & Nate (3-7-07) Nate was diagnosed with silent AR at 2 months old. He was on neocate, prevacid 30mg per day and couldn't start solids till he was almost 8 months old. He started cow's milk at 14 months and is currently off all meds!! So far so good :) PIC: Disney trip 2008. Nate didn't know Piglet was there, he didn't like the characters too much.
Hey all. Adam's ear thing seems to be under control. He finished his z-pak for his throat and is doing alot better. I was hoping to have a better week until Nate woke up yesterday with a fever...on and off all day. I can see 2 little teeth that just poked thru today so I am hoping that is his issue.

I was at a Cubs game on Saturday (they lost tho) I took the boys to the Indianapolis zoo while dh went to the nascar race yesterday (it was so hot) I am so behind on here, I am glad you posted this. Glad to hear Nolan is doing well, we can all do without all this teething LOL!! I am going to try and catch up tonight with some posts :)

Ava 5/3/05 asthma, food allergies
Pic: My girls! They are getting so big!
Jen's Update.... Sorry Ladies, It's long!
Ok Amber~ You should be the one in charge of the social gatherings and updates! :) You are always so good at checking on everyone. 9 times out of 10 you beat me to it. LOL!

I don't h ave much to update except that it is stinking hot and I am not a big fan of the heat. I grew up in the Bay Area (CA) and it was not this hot or humid.

Melina goes back to school in just over two weeks.... YAY! She is bored and driving everyone else crazy.

Ava is good... minor eczema flares and asthma issues but nothing we can't handle. I keep trying to reintro some of the foods she has reacted to in the past but it is not working out so well. I may have to go super vigilant for a while and try again after some more time has passed.

I am also trying to wean Ella down off of her Prevacid dose. Pray for me. This is day two of using half the normal dose. I am also making sure she eats pretty bland foods until the transition is over so hopefully that will help. I imagine we will know in a few days if it worked. I am not opposed to her being on meds but I am trying to make sure none of the girls are on anything that they don't have to be on, kwim?

Ella gets evaluated next month for PT through SpecialED. Wouldn't you know she is doing 100xs better in the last couple of weeks. I think she heard me threaten to take her back to PT. LOL. I will still follow through with the eval but I would be shocked if she actually qualified. The girls are great though so they will give me some ideas of what I can do with her once they eval, even if she doesn't qualify.

Ok... and Ella is actually jumping. I mean two feet off the floor jumping. I am so excited. I know that is silly but it is in the line of development that she should have hit at two. I am just thrilled to see her doing it now. Melina has been "teaching" her how to do some things I have suggested. It seems to work well to get Ella to try it and keep Melina occupied.

No such luck on the potty issue. She still has had no success. I am going to address this with her pedi at the next apt. I have taken everyone's suggestions and I can tell that she really WANTS to do it but that she just doesn't get it. At this point we may need to rule out any reasons that might cause her to be unable to train.

WOW, I am long winded tonight. If you read this.... THANKS! ((HUGS))

Thanks for the updates girls. I really miss socializing with you all. When the weather is colder and we all become shut ins again I hope we can all chit chat a little more.

Sharon I am so sorry the Elyse is still not drinking alot. These darn teeth. It seems we are all going through it. Yuck.

Danie it is good to hear that Adam is better but I'm sorry that Nate is starting in. If it isn't one thing it is another.

Jen I'd gladly be the social director of this group. I just think of you all like family so when things get posted I like to follow up!!! I still think we should have some sort of PAGER convention where we can all come together and meet each other. I'd be willing to travel. My eczema is really bad with the humidity too so I know how poor Ava feels. I feel like taking sand paper to my hands at times. Sorry that sounds gross:P I'm so happy that Ella is doing so good in pt. I bet it is so cute to have Melina teach her and I'm sure she follows along with her. I hope there isn't anything wrong that is making her so hard to train. I'm hoping that she'll get it soon. I'm sure it is not easy for her to see Ava and Melina doing it.

Well now I'm writing a Novel but it is so good to hear from you all. Like I said b4 keep the updates coming:)
