Maggie is now 3 years old and reflux free (knock on wood). I still check in some to see how everybody is doing :) Hugs to all!
OT-SPOTS ON BACK
We went out for a while. Maggie was in her car seat, a restaurant high chair, and she wore her monkey harness for a while. When we came home she has red spots where all her vertebrae are...well not all...just maybe 7. I can't imagine that anything pressed against her spine enough for her vertabrae to leave marks. Any ideas?

TWINS:
Ella 5/3/05 GERD, asthma, hypotonia, food intolerances, esophagitis, IBS //
Ava 5/3/05 asthma, food allergies

She wasn't rolling on the floor... like laying on her back with her knees into her chest and rocking on her back. The girls have done that on our hardwood and that leaves marks.... HUMN....

I knew that Jen, lol. No, her day has pretty much consisted of mom's morning out and nap. Then we went out. She doesn't roll around yet really. She really doesn't lay on her back at all unless we put her down.

I called the ped, just for peace of mind for the night. Her checkup is in the morning. I'll post when he calls me back.

Thanks!

He said he can't think of a thing except that she has rubbed against something. I knew that's probably it, it's just weird. Any way, he'll see her tomorrow.

daniejo
Mom (Danie) to Adam (9-4-03) & Nate (3-7-07) Nate was diagnosed with silent AR at 2 months old. He was on neocate, prevacid 30mg per day and couldn't start solids till he was almost 8 months old. He started cow's milk at 14 months and is currently off all meds!! So far so good :) PIC: Disney trip 2008. Nate didn't know Piglet was there, he didn't like the characters too much.
you got me...I was thinking like a heat rash with that monkey thing on but then I read further...they are like bigger spots? Adam has very sensitive skin and if he leans up against a feather, he gets a mark LOL. I am glad she gets to be seen tomorrow!!

Well, it just is kind of freaky. I know if she had fallen or something at mmo, they would have told me. I'm also right across the hall, so if she cried, I'd probably hear her. It had to be the car seat or something tonight. I just can't imagine what.

Jennifer - 1st time mom. Lauren (6/1/07) diagnosed 9/07 with GER at 3 1/2 months. Prevacid 7.5 mg in the am. Currently drinking whole milk and eating great!!
No longer aspirating! Yippee!
Picture: Why would Lauren play with the hundreds of dollars worth of toys scattered in my living room?!?! When she could play in a box! Estimated move date: Oct. 3rd!
I'll be interested to see what he thinks, I have no ideas for you! Keep us posted :)

Picture: This is what happens when you raise a kid on health food and they get ahold of a Coke! Bad mom, that soda is NOT on the reflux diet.
UPDATE: Isaiah is now 12 and off meds! He is doing great, eating again and hopefully will be catching up in the growing department. I am still in the "hoping it sticks" phase, but we're so happy that he's better!
Hmmmm, that happens to my kids fairly frequently and I"ve never figured out what it was. Let me know if your pedi has any ideas! I always attributed it to rubbing against something, or sliding down off something (you know, when they're sitting on a chair or something and slide off it like a noodle).

Now that they aren't so red, it's pretty obvious that they are rubs. I don't know what she did. It must have happened at mmo. I think we both may have a tummy bug...ugh.
Check with your
