Tracey, mom to Katie diagnosed with GERD at 3 week.
Melissa-Maggie's Mom
I just read Sarah's comment about Mila keeping herself awake in the car by screaming and that could also be it. Katie will be so tired she is about to rub her nose off of her face but the minute we put her to bed she will scream for 20-30 minutes even though we know she is a) not in pain cause she was happily playing which she does NOT do when reflux is hurting b) she just ate and has a clean diaper c) thinks we are going to do something fun that she will miss out on. BTW: this will usually only go on if she is way past tired because she didn't want to nap that day. Wouldn't discount the teeth either but I thought Sarah had a good point!

Maggie is now 3 years old and reflux free (knock on wood). I still check in some to see how everybody is doing :) Hugs to all!
Yeah, definitely likely! We went out of town today and on the way home at 7pm she did the same thing. She hadn't had a nap all day and she was exhausted. It was the same ear piercing scream. I really didn't think of it the other day bc she usually does fine without a nap. It could be bc the car makes her want to go to sleep but then again she doesn't want to. :)
