OMG! Totally off topic but very freaky!!!
I bought Quinn a toilet a while back. It is tiny and has a sensor at the bottom so if they do something, it will make various happy music! Well, lately it has been kind of going off by itself, normally when Q is in the bathtub so I think maybe it goes off with heat/moisture too. I am sitting here, late at night, nobody but me in the house and Q in bed, it is dark, no lights flashing, nothing and the thing goes off. I hear it in the living room. So I think to myself, "Ok, just a fluke, right? Nothing to worry about." Then it does it again, and again and again. I go in there and there's nothing in the potty part, the thing stops going off. so I just turned it off. It freaked me out that now I'm jumping at the slightest sound. UGH!!!! It's times like this that I wish I had a dog so I can blame stuff on him. -Sarah

Melissa - Mommy to Sebastian, born 9/28/07 @ 7 lbs 7 oz and 20.75 in. At docs at 12 months: 27 pounds and 32 in! Good grief! GERD - currently on Prevacid suspension (liquid equivalent of 45 mg a day). Allergic to dairy, soy, eggs, wheat, all treenuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, peas, sesame, bananas, barley, coconut, dust, dust mite, dog, cat, latex. Seasonal allergies. Oral Allergy Syndrome (OAS). Neocate only - no solids - until further notice (drinks and loves water, too). Loves his doggie, our rescued Treeing Walker Coonhound, Louise, even though he is allergic to her. Louise will make your doctor a homemade pie if you would like her to. PHOTO: We couldn't do a cake on Sebastian's birthday, but that didn't stop him from tossing around the contents of a big bowl of popcorn! He now tries to eat it when we play with popcorn, so no more of that game.... :(
Or you possibly have a ghost with a bowel problem?

Mom (Danie) to Adam (9-4-03) & Nate (3-7-07) Nate was diagnosed with silent AR at 2 months old. He was on neocate, prevacid 30mg per day and couldn't start solids till he was almost 8 months old. He started cow's milk at 14 months and is currently off all meds!! So far so good :) PIC: Disney trip 2008. Nate didn't know Piglet was there, he didn't like the characters too much.
OMG...we have this bear that does that too!! DH works out of town every week and if I am in here by myself, I hear that darn bear start singing this freaky nursery rhyme and I am OUTA HERE, LOL!! I hate that...I am the biggest baby :)

Bryson (3/06), former Neocate, Nexium, and Reglan baby. Diagnosed with peanut allergy and asthma. Weaned from meds in Spring 0f 08. Brother, Parker (6/04), was also on Prevacid and Pregestimil (formula) as an infant.
Our "throne" potty does the same exact thing and it will sing for hours in the night. We finally took the batteries out when it started to play all night long. It is a little freaky!

maia m - GERD. Nissen Fundoplication w/hiatal hernia repair.
Mom to
Son (10) GERD(aspiration pneumonias, apnea, tracheomalacia), Food allergy, Asthma
Daughter (6) GERD, Heart Murmur, Food Allergy, Asthma, Mold allergy
Our throne potty did that too, when the batteries were dying. My kids outgrew it, so I sent it to my sister and it freaked her out! Her little one loves it though - throwing toys in there to make it "sing".

Donnessa, mom to Halley born 3/10/07
Reflux (mostly) resolved at 14 months
and Addison born 8/17/09. Currently exclusively bf and on 7.5mg Prevacid
That's hilarious! Halley has this Elmo doll (that dh bought) that makes noise when you stretch its arms and legs. It's creepy sounding under the best of circumstances, but when you hear those weird noises at 2 am, it's enough to make you run for the hills!

Danie - this is too funny! I thought our playhouse was the only one with a mind of it's own. I have changed the batteries a few times and nothing seems to help it. It's a cute toy but it only works when it wants to and sometimes it's 2 am!!!
