OT
This song still makes me cry. I was thinking about posting the video. Then I remembered I already did. I searched and realized it has been almost 2 months since I posted it. It seems like it was a week ago. Perfect example of how time flies.

It just seems like I've heard soooo many stories this summer of kids getting hurt or killed while under the supervision of an older sibling. I have stressed to my dh that we absolutely can not leave Morgan responsible for Mags even to come inside for a drink. I keep thinking of how the older sibling must feel after their younger sib. gets hurt or worse. I would never want Morgan to have to live with feeling responsible for something happening to Mags.

I know this is not even close to being our topic, but y'all are my buddies and I just felt the need to share this with other moms.

Y'all know I'm feeling a little extra emotional right now any way, lol.

And for those that don't know...my lil vent goes with this video bc Steven Curtis Chapman's little girl was killed when her brother backed out of their driveway. She was one of their adopted dds.

I know some of you saw my post before but it has been a while. I just feel so moved by this story. On our local radio station (89.3 His radio) you can send words of encouragement to the family. It provided an address.

Oh and what really pulls my heartstrings is the fact that he wrote and released this song before she died.

Tracey, mom to Katie diagnosed with GERD at 3 week.
I didn't even click to listen to the song because the story makes me cry. I too am emotional lately and can't imagine the hurt in that family; can't even go there for a second because it hurts too much.

I hope this doesn't cause anybody any upset. Kwim? Stuff like this just pushes me to be aware and try not to make crazy mistakes. I mean, I've told Morgan to watch Mags before while I ran inside, but not any more! Not ever!

daniejo
Mom (Danie) to Adam (9-4-03) & Nate (3-7-07) Nate was diagnosed with silent AR at 2 months old. He was on neocate, prevacid 30mg per day and couldn't start solids till he was almost 8 months old. He started cow's milk at 14 months and is currently off all meds!! So far so good :) PIC: Disney trip 2008. Nate didn't know Piglet was there, he didn't like the characters too much.
I just heard this story in Church this past Sunday (as you know, it has been awhile since I went) I can't watch the video just yet...I'll wait till Nate is napping :)

Y'all I feel crazy. I've been an emotional mess with all these job decisions. The guilt of abandoning Mags and stuff is killing me. I'm ok now, but I get in moods that make me post stuff like this, lol. Thanks for putting up with me.
