Michelle-menu
this is the menu for Maggie's center this week. Just thought we'd compare.

Monday: Bk-cereal, fruit, juice milk;--Lunch- mac & cheese, peas & carrots, fruit, milk; snack-cheese stick and crackers

Tues: Bk-saus. bisc. with gravy, fruit;--Lunch-baked chicken with rice, green beans, fruit, milk;--snack- apples & grahams

Wed: Bk-cheese toast, fruit;--Lunch-manwiches, french fries;--snack-smoothies

Thurs: Bk-egg & cheese omelet, fruit;--Lunch-tuna wraps, carrots, fruit;--snack-FOOTHILLS SNACK MIX (?)

Fri: Bk-pancakes with syrup, fruit;--Lunch-pizza, corn, fruit, milk;--snack-popsicles

Ok, so that's that. It's ok I guess, but I think I could pack her a better lunch. I honestly don't even know if that's an option for me. Mags will eat a lot of that, but I don't know about tuna wraps. Manwiches???That's weird.

LOL I went to turn in more papers today and they told me that they are doing orientation for new hires TONIGHT. I was thinking and probably showing on my face....thanks for letting me know. Oh well, whatever. I wasn't feeling warm fuzzies at that moment.

That's actually a pretty good menu too...more kid friendly, lol. I'd be more comfortable with this menu for Rory because there is something she can eat for almost every day of the week. I've decided not to stress too much about it in the hope that she will surprise me. I still have to discuss the self-feeding with the clinic, and the need to offer other textures...hopefully they will be willing to alter our plan based on these new goals we have. Girl, manwiches ROCK!!! Rory would never ever eat them, but she can eat the bun!! I didn't post yet on your other post about going back to work....but girl, I feel your pain. Maggie will thrive in daycare, and besides the feeding deal, I know Rory will too. THey really need to socialize with someone other than their mommies...it will be so much harder on us. LOL. GOOD LUCK!!!

I went to our orientation tonight and I feel sooooo much better. I got some ?? answered. Several teachers have kids there and said that their kid started eating things that they never would have touched before. I didn't really voice concern, I just asked if we were allowed to bring lunches some days. She told me the "dr's note" policy. We used to eat manwiches once a week but I got tired of them, lol. Morgan stopped eating them too so there was no use.

Oh they start potty training when they hit the 2yr old room! Woo hoo! bye bye diapers!

Check with your
doctor first!
