5 out of 6 isn't bad...*sigh*
That's right. 5 out of 6 of my children are sick with stupid ear infections. As you know it started with Bradden, Prestyn, and Avary last week. Well Thursday Maddie and Brad had to go also and they had one. So I haven't had time for nothing except being Mrs. Doctor all weekend. I feel like a walking pharmacy. The boys are on 2 each, Brad is on 1, and Maddie is on 4. Her ears are so bad (it is actually a staff infection) that they had to put her on steriods also. It is in her lymph nodes too.

They all do seem to be improving finally. The babies wheezing has improved greatly and now their treatments are every 6 hrs instead of 4. Their runny nose is also almost gone.

Bradden's wheezing and cough is almost completely gone but his nose is still quite runny. I am beginning to wonder if Bradden's is allergy related. He is still quite puny but you can tell a big difference in his energy and attitude. Praise God! He is drinking everything in sight. He is even now drinking a cup of formula a day which has the added calories to it. He still isn't eating too hot but at least for now he is drinking. I am giving him time on the eating before we cross to the next step. I am praying as he improves his eating will pick up day by day.

So now you can see what my weekend was like... I want to apologize about posting about the diapers and then leave you'll hanging. I am truly sorry. I actually had not been when I posted that post. I copied that post from the other forum except the first 2 lines. I did not go until Saturday night myself. When I went I got 14 packs of diapers and wipes at the 1st Target. I used all 3 coupons and my total was 49. They gave me 14 gift cards back. Later on I went to the other Target since they were out of 2's at the 1st one. At the 2nd one I got 4 packs of diapers and wipes for 19. I used all 3 coupons and they gave me $20 in gift cards. I then had to go back and get Jeremiah's for Mom that I had forgot. She got 7 packs of each. I went through a different cashier and she would only let me use the 5 off and the gift card. I forget what her total was but it was still a good deal. Again I am sorry about the confusion and not being on to answer your questions you posted.

Melissa I hope you enjoyed your trip up here. If I would've known you were coming I would've met you and gave you a package. We too are wanting to go to the Biltmore House sometime before the kids get in for free special goes off. Also right now if you are a resident here adults can get in B1G1F. It would only cost Michael and I the 40 then. That like last until the last of Sept. I think my sister and BIL are going to take us for Michael's bday that was last week. She just keeps hinting around about it but won't come out and tell me. Also they are having a Parents night out at our church Friday night through the teen program. They are raising money for their mission trip to Costa Rica. We are possibly going to do it since Michael and I have not been out alone in about 3 years or more. My sister and BIL are taking us to the real nice seafood place that I wouldn't dare go to if we were paying. LOL I am just going to ignore how much it is and have a good time with no children if I can really leave them. I will let you know if I really end up leaving them especially the 3 smallest. LOL Thinking and praying for all of you. I have tried to catch up on reading but not had time to post. I will try to post tomorrow. Carla

Donnessa, mom to Halley born 3/10/07
Reflux (mostly) resolved at 14 months
and Addison born 8/17/09. Currently exclusively bf and on 7.5mg Prevacid
I can't think of anyone who deserves a night off more than you! I hope that the kiddos start feeling better soon. I think you may be on to something with Bradden - has he seen an allergist yet? Our pedi feels that a lot of Halley's sinus infections and respiratory issues are related to allergies, so it wouldn't surprise me if it's the same for B. Glad that hear that he's starting to drink more - hopefully he'll be back to his old self soon.
Check with your
doctor first!
