PICTURE: Aubrey in her cute cat outfit. If you look you can see how her right foot turns in. She walks that way as well. It is not as exaggerated in the morning's but gets worse in the evenings. This was after her nap.
Aubrey to the pedi-not looking so hot
I took Aubrey into the pedi this morning. She started running fever and her urine smells so bad! I went in and saw the pedi and she wanted a urine sample, so in came the nurse for the cathetar. We got those preliminary results back and it showed (I am so going to butcher the spelling) elevated keratonin count-could be why she stinks and elevated belirubin (liver) counts. She said although she is not jaundice yet a better way to tell is blood tests. We should not be seeing elevated liver counts in her urine. Could mean there is something else going on or she has a nasty virus. I should have the blood resluts back this afternoon. They also want her urine cultured which takes 48hrs. My pedi is not on call but she is labeling Aubrey STAT and will have the on call pedi call us this weekend with results. In the meantime she put her on zofran in hopes we can start getting something in her and getting it to stay down. We will know if she is dehydrated when we get the blood results in. I am a bit nervous but just hoping for a virus...

Donnessa, mom to Halley born 3/10/07
Reflux (mostly) resolved at 14 months
and Addison born 8/17/09. Currently exclusively bf and on 7.5mg Prevacid
I sincerely hope that after she makes it through these toddler years, she's never sick again. She's definitely had more than her share of sick days, poor thing :-(. Hope the Zofran helps - it was a miracle drug for me when I was pregnant. You can get them in solutabs (just in case you didn't know). Let us know what the pedi says. I'll say some extra special prayers for her.
