Aubrey was SO constipated
How did she go from diarhea to constipated??? And I mean constipated! I went in to check on her before I went to bed and her diaper was full of rock solid poop. And she had thrown up her pedi pop in the bed... I am hoping now that she got the poop out of her system today will be a better day. Her urine smells SO strong these days, but she is still peeing. She just wouldn't eat or drink a thing. Now that she has emptied her system I hope she will feel better. Sad part is I was telling my dh yesterday afternoon she had not pooped in 2 days but he said she hasn't had anything to eat either. I am just hopeful she will feel better now. J

poor little doll, maybe this is all soy related still?? i missed the original post but i saw the one where you said she threw up and asked how long soy takes to get out of her system. she probably threw up her pedi pop b/c she was constipated, constipation really wreaks havoc on emi's reflux. i sure hope you are right and she starts eating and feeling better today!

awwww. hugs. poor aubrey. :( I have no experience in the constipation department, but I do know it is one of the first questions they asked me at the feeding clinic. It can really wreak havoc on their eating I guess. Just want to offer some hugs.

I have way too much experience with diarhea/constipation, my poor dd never really gets to have anything normal! I know when she gets really sick and isn't eating she usually stops pooping for a few days and then the GI's nurse is convinced there is an intestinal blockage if I call to ask about it...there never is, and when she starts eating again things start moving again. Also when she is sick she throws up her miralax so that can't help anything. So sorry she can't get a break!
