Maggie is now 3 years old and reflux free (knock on wood). I still check in some to see how everybody is doing :) Hugs to all!
POOP ??
On Sat. we left for our trip. Maggie didn't poop that day.

Yesterday when we got home around 2, she started and finally had a total of 4 yucky diapers.

Today she has had 5.

They are icky stinky and her hiney is really red.

Dh thinks maybe it's watermelon, but I don't think she had any yesterday.

I'm afraid about pool water. Could it be related to that?

Jennifer - 1st time mom. Lauren (6/1/07) diagnosed 9/07 with GER at 3 1/2 months. Prevacid 7.5 mg in the am. Currently drinking whole milk and eating great!!
No longer aspirating! Yippee!
Picture: Why would Lauren play with the hundreds of dollars worth of toys scattered in my living room?!?! When she could play in a box! Estimated move date: Oct. 3rd!
I would think fruit before pool water...Is anyone else sick? You all swam, did you all eat the watermelon? Maybe it's just a short term bug -- I hope!

I kindof figure fruit too, but she eats loads of fruit all the time. Nobody else is sick (kow). I told him no fruit tomorrow while I work! Maybe her system just got thrown off or something. I don't know.

Mom (Danie) to Adam (9-4-03) & Nate (3-7-07) Nate was diagnosed with silent AR at 2 months old. He was on neocate, prevacid 30mg per day and couldn't start solids till he was almost 8 months old. He started cow's milk at 14 months and is currently off all meds!! So far so good :) PIC: Disney trip 2008. Nate didn't know Piglet was there, he didn't like the characters too much.
Well, lemme tell ya. This is gonna be WAY TMI....when I am outa town on vaca, I CANNOT HAVE A BM!!! Yes...I admit it...I can't do it any where but home, LMAO!! Maybe she just got messed up not being at home?? In combo with the fruit and teething...JMHO

Surgery for Pyloric Stenosis at 5 weeks old
GERD since 4 weeks old
Colic until 13 weeks old

Anemic since 9 month check
Febrile Seizures

MEDS: Zyrtec, Nasonex, Xopenex,

Okay, again with the TMI, but we just went on a weekend camping trip and Donnie did the same thing. He didn't go the entire time (3 days) and almost immediately when we got home it was like 3 diapers in a row. I would imagine it was just Maggie's routine thrown off. -Liz

Tracey, mom to Katie diagnosed with GERD at 3 week.
Another TMI but I can't go while away from home either. If the watermelon was grown elsewhere the water used to water it might not have been the best..I have noticed a difference with me so I can only imagine on her little tract.

I would too lean more towards the environment change vs the watermelon if she has fruit a lot. Do you think though it could be her molars trying to come in. With Bradden's last mth before he was sick he cut 2 of the last molars. He had diarrhea for 5 or 6 days straight. His bottom was pitiful. Once the teeth broke through the next day it quit. JMO..

Thanks for all the tmi ladies, lol. Really, I do appreciate it. She doesn't act sick. She's eating normally, but she's crying out once a night. That could be anything. Hopefully today will be normal.

Coyle Eagan. One Year Old. Doing well on Cow's Milk flavored with juice :) Drinking two bottles of Go&Grow daily. Eating solids better but still have rough days. No More Silent Reflux-that I can hear anyway.. but puking again. Zantac 2ML 2X daily.
yep. my 10 year old step son gets diarrhea every single time he swims at the pool. and i mean every single time!! my DH reminds him not to drink the water but he never listens. if it is a heavily chlorinated pool she probably drank a bit too much.

Until I had my c-section I could not go on vacation either! (side note: when I had my C, the doc took out my intestines and some other stuff to check for endometriosis....my theory is that when he put it all back something changed...maybe I had a minor malrotation that got fixed when he put it all back?????) :)
