Mr. Quiet and Preacher Update...I just wanted to update about Braddy quickly. THe subject honestly describes he perfectly. He is so quiet. He plays, walks around, etc. and you will never hear a peep from him. The only words that he is saying now for some reason is Mama and Thank you. I dont know why he quit talking. Anyway he has learned something new. I don't know what language he is speaking but he will point his finger at something he wants, someone, etc and just start preaching. It is so funny to hear him. I have no idea what so ever in what he says but he gets his point across loudly. I will try to video it on my camera and play it here.
He is slowly getting better about drinking but the eating is another question. Today for example he ate about 3 tbs of mashed potatoes. He has drank about 4-5 sippies. I know eating is not as important as drinking but I am worried about the food strike now. How long should it last? Is it an age thing? I do not remember the other's going through this but they could have.
Other than the eating he is doing a lot better. His diarrhea is completely gone and his bottom is starting to get better. His nose though is so full and congested. I am beginning to wonder if this is allergy related? In your opinion should I take him to an allergist or wait it out?
Just pray for him. He is now back in size 2 diapers and I can tell he is not himself. He is still so lovable and sweet just not my Braddy. As you all know Braddy and I have came a long way in 19 mths and he is special to me in a different way. Right now all of the kids are in their own bed except him. He needs cuddles so he will sleep in between Michael and I. This is not every night though. Only once in a while but he does get in the bed with me when Michael leaves at 5 and sleeps with me until 10 or so. That is our time... BTW I just wanted to give you Mom's who are struggling with the sleep issues some hope. When he is well I ask him at nap time if he is ready for nap and he will shake his head yes. I put him in his crib w/ his blankie and paci and off he goes to nap for 3-4 hrs. Same routine for bed. Only 2 mths ago it was a fight. Now he just lays right down and off he goes. I honestly will be spoiled if this continues. I do have Bradden, Prestyn, and Avary on the same nap schedule. If I didn't have that time I wouldn't get any cleaning done. That is my everything time. Anyway.. I am thinking and praying for you.

Maggie is now 3 years old and reflux free (knock on wood). I still check in some to see how everybody is doing :) Hugs to all!
|Hopefully the therapy will get him where he needs to be. Maggie still isn't where I think she should be, but it's probably just me. Morgan was a very early talker. The nap time thing is great. Sleeping in is great too :) Maggie lets us sleep late occasionally.|

and Addison born 8/17/09. Currently exclusively bf and on 7.5mg Prevacid
|Has the pedi said anything yet about the weight loss? That's pretty concerning. Hopefully he will start eating well again and will put that weight back on. Your comment about the cuddles made me smile - Halley LOVES to sleep with us (and to be completely honest, I love it too). |
