Maggie is now 3 years old and reflux free (knock on wood). I still check in some to see how everybody is doing :) Hugs to all!
I'm chipper...why? You ask.

I'm in SC.

The inlaws are in ALASKA! lol

They left last Friday and just got there today. Yep, they drove. I didn't think they'd make it, but they proved me wrong. I'm really glad they made it safely. I was concerned...they aren't spring chickens :)

There's a lot going on for them back home and I really don't dislike them as much as I make it out sometimes. I just get aggravated with them.

Any way, I don't know why I'm posting this. I just wanted to share and be funny.

Anyway, my aunt just told me that my cousin (in the military) who is stationed in Las Vegas has just recieved orders to relocate to Alaska for the next 4 years as of Sept. 1! That is quite a climate change. Hope your inlaws have a safe trip! -Liz

Liz, they are visiting old Air Force friends in Kenai. Dh loved his time in Alaska. They have all these stories about flying to grocery shop for food a month at a time.

For some reason his mom wasn't there for a week and dh's dad cooked all the meat in one week. LOL

They tell me stories about the tundra, bears, and fishing. I'd love to go and I'm sure they would have invited me...but with Mags I couldn't.

Good luck to your cousin. I'll be praying for him.

Picture: This is what happens when you raise a kid on health food and they get ahold of a Coke! Bad mom, that soda is NOT on the reflux diet.
UPDATE: Isaiah is now 12 and off meds! He is doing great, eating again and hopefully will be catching up in the growing department. I am still in the "hoping it sticks" phase, but we're so happy that he's better!
Yea! LOL, I know how you feel. We're heading over to the inlaws for dinner tonight, it's FIL's birthday. Wish that you were in Alaska and they were in SC, though...Alaska is soooo beautiful. Hopefully you'll get a chance to go another time!

Melissa - Mommy to Sebastian, born 9/28/07 @ 7 lbs 7 oz and 20.75 in. At docs at 12 months: 27 pounds and 32 in! Good grief! GERD - currently on Prevacid suspension (liquid equivalent of 45 mg a day). Allergic to dairy, soy, eggs, wheat, all treenuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, peas, sesame, bananas, barley, coconut, dust, dust mite, dog, cat, latex. Seasonal allergies. Oral Allergy Syndrome (OAS). Neocate only - no solids - until further notice (drinks and loves water, too). Loves his doggie, our rescued Treeing Walker Coonhound, Louise, even though he is allergic to her. Louise will make your doctor a homemade pie if you would like her to. PHOTO: We couldn't do a cake on Sebastian's birthday, but that didn't stop him from tossing around the contents of a big bowl of popcorn! He now tries to eat it when we play with popcorn, so no more of that game.... :(
Don't feel bad - I often dislike my in-laws! You're always funny, BTW. I think I am going to do a search for that photo of your hubby taking out the trash now. It was soooooo funny.
Check with your
doctor first!
