To gabe's mom
How is Gabe doing? Is he still refluxing. I know that after Q had her nissen Fundoplication done, it appeared to be that she was still refluxing. She still appeared to be in pain, but it turns out that the swelling took a very long time to go down. She had to swallow numerous times to get stuff down the wrap and it was sometimes painful for her. Maybe this is what gabe is experiencing? Also, sometimes stuff would just get stuck above her wrap and then she would throw it up hours later, but this was not reflux, it was just the food lingering above the wrap. She had her surgery Aug. 24th and she is now showing little to no signs of pain from the surgery anymore. Sometimes it can be difficult for her to swallow and she will scream, but for the most part, she is doing GREAT! -Sarah
