Lost my 33 yr old most physical fit husband 1 year ago, I miss him and his help! Feels so shitty and unfair. My baby getting better is the only thing that would bring my sanity back.
14 months ... and tired of being tired. My baby is now 14 months and was born with silent gerds... as he is not your typical profile. He is breastfed and has been on prevacid 15mg day for just over 2 months.
Allergic to chicken, rice and bannana and certain he has other allergies as well. I swear we've tried everything out there and done it all. All I do in what little free time I have is research on the net.
He came out crying and never stopped for the first year. Now running around and active things have got easier.. but it is still hard because he still gets very uncomfortable.
We have tried quite a few different medications and now the Dr's (GI) are saying that they don't think he has reflux as the medications should have worked? I feel like they have given up, but I will keep pushing until we have an answer and something that works.
I lost my husband 6 weeks ago which feels like an eternity already, who I thought never helped out enough... and now I REALLY MISS HIS HELP! It is really hard without him and dealing with our babes. We have grandma and brother (15) so they help.. thank heavens.
It is like air gets trapped in his throat or something, he wakes up at least 4 times a nite. Sleep propped up. He breastfeds every time he gets uncomfortable.
I just want him to be comfortable and happy. I am grateful though for finding this site and grateful that it isn't as bad as it can be... I had no idea.

|Maybe you should think about getting a second opinion. It sounds like your doctors are in the right place and want to help, but there are other treatment options that may help him out and they can do some testing to figure out how severe his reflux is. I hate to see these little ones have to suffer. Have you tried increasing his meds to 30mg? 15 may not be enough. Also, there is another forum on this site called General, Beginning and Infants. That forum gets a lot more traffic and so many moms will be more apt to answer your questions! they are all so nice too! I would look into that forum and post this same message. -Sarah||Check with your
