Anybody accused of making child sick or lying about symptoms?We need to talk to any parents who were accused of making their child sick or accused of lying about the symptoms.

|yes - two drs said they did not believe that I was telling the truth about the symptoms my child was showing! What did you do!! I felt so awful and belittled - I would never make ny child sick nor lie about it!

Happened to me too.The same thing happened to me. I was accused of making up symptoms that the drs were not able to see with their own eyes. Horrible. I will send a email about this to the email address.

Re: This happened to me tooThis happened to me after my son had been on Prevacid (at the highest dose allowed) for 1 1/2 years. We had a ph probe done before we began giving the Prevacid. The PH study showed severe GERD. After 1 1/2 years on the Prevacid the GI doc ordered an EGD (biopsy). This test came back positive for esophagitis and gastritis (on the Prevacid). My son's symptoms also began to reappear, such as sitting up in bed to sleep. I told the GI doc that I was interested in pursuiting fundoplication.
It was after I requested a fundo that he began making accusations my son wasn't having these symptoms. When I brought up the EGD results he denied that they were accurate. He basicly told me I was making up my son's problem with GERD. It has been an aweful experience. We are changing GI doctors.
