Spanish Language Web site and Outreach Project
Phase I
In 2008, we will be creating a web site in Spanish. Www.reflujoenninos.org will have information pages and a discussion board. Our translators are busy re-creating the most important and popular documents. We are actively recruiting volunteers who know about GERD and are bilingual. Please contact us if you can help.

Phase II and III
In 2009 and 2010, we will be doing media outreach and collaborating with several existing health education organizations that work with the Spanish Speaking population in the US. Please contact us if you have connections.

Funding

This program is supported by an educational grant from Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America, Inc., a grant from the Demarest Lloyd Jr. Foundation and an unrestricted educational grant from Eisai, Inc.

At this point, we have about 20% of the funding needed for the core program. We still need almost $80,000 for the basic project and would like to conduct some additional activities such as attending conferences to pass out our Spanish literature.
